The year is 1721.
Summer in Versailles is hot and gorgeous as always. The French King
has hoped to spice up his summer by inviting members from every
noble family in Europe to join him at his court in Versailles. Although
suspicious at first, most accept, knowing that they'll miss the fun if they don't.
Tensions are high as the most powerful men and women in the world
interact. Although each family has their own quarters, having all that royalty
squished into one palace puts stress on everyone. Versailles is a ticking
time bomb, and everyone's watching, not knowing who's going to explode first.
The royal youth has also chosen to attend. Although they don't
know it as of yet, there is a reason that they were all called to
the courts of Versailles. The French King has been plotting with
all the other kings and queens, and they've all decided that it's
time to marry off their children. A summer all in one place seems
like fun to the younger generation. But in actuality, Versailles is
a breeding ground, a place to figure out who clashes and who
goes perfectly together.
The future KINGS AND QUEENS OF PROMISE don't know what
they're getting themselves into. One thing's for sure, though.
This'll be a summer to remember.
